On-site Vaccine Clinic for Students 12 and Older July 10 and 31

Huntley 158 families,

To help families of eligible students get vaccinated against COVID-19, Huntley 158 will host an on-site vaccination clinic in partnership with Walgreen’s on July 10 and 31, 2021, at the Huntley High School Field House.

  • The July 10 clinic will be for the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, and the July 31 clinic will be for the second dose.
  • Both clinics will be held from 8:00 a.m.-noon.
  • The clinic is intended for Huntley 158 students who will be 12 or older by July 10. Eligible family members may also sign up to receive the vaccine at the event.
  • Students from other school districts may be accommodated if space allows.
  • The vaccine is free.
  • Please sign up to attend only if you are committed to receiving both doses at the clinics.

Families can sign up for appointments through Walgreens at https://wagsoutreach.com/ss/HUN256992 or via the QR Code below.

Walgreens will manage the clinic, and questions regarding the vaccine can be directed to Walgreens at (800) 925-4733. Other questions can be directed to 847-659-6158.

Please see the following information from Walgreens for clinic participants:

  1. We encourage individuals to wear short sleeves to make the vaccination process go smoothly. If wearing long sleeves, we advise to wear an undershirt as we cannot vaccinate through clothing.
  2. Walgreens encourages all parents to attend with any individual under 18. We can vaccinate if they are not present ONLY if a consent form has been signed by their legal guardian.
  3. We do collect insurance information. Walgreens can bill a patient’s insurance for an administration fee to make up some of the costs of sending out our team to vaccinate. If a patient does not have insurance, or if the fee is not covered for any reason, we waive the cost. There would be no instance where anyone would have to pay for the vaccine.
  4. We encourage individuals to fill out their paperwork prior to clinic. However, we understand that not everyone has access to printers and will bring plenty of copies just in case!
