For individuals with disabilities, life after high school can be difficult.
Huntley 158 is hosting “Let’s Talk Transition,” a presentation for families of students with a wide variety of disabilities (such as: SLD, Emotional, Autism, Multiple, etc.) that may need support in the areas of education, employment and independent living.
The event will be held April 11, 2019 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the District Office, 650 Dr. John Burkey Drive (formerly Academic Drive), Algonquin, IL, 60102.
PRESENTERS
Presenters will discuss the programs and services their organization offers and how to access the resources. The focus of the presentation will be on employment, education, and independent living. There will be time at the end for question and answers.
