Building My Child’s IEP: Building an IEP “Understanding the Process and Preparing to Participate” Do you ever leave an IEP meeting with questions you weren’t sure how to ask? Do you leave confused by acronyms or the paperwork? IEP meetings can be overwhelming for any parent. You are an important member of the IEP team and have valued input. Parents have a more intimate understanding of how your child learns and functions across many environments. You know how your child talents, as well as their learning style. As a parent you are working to help your child find their voice in advocacy, in part by modeling this for them. This session will provide a strong understanding of the IEP process and how to confidently take your place as part of the team. Step into co-ownership of your child’s education.
Trainings will be virtual: Thursday Sept. 23rd at 12:00, Wed. September 29 at 6:00 PM: Register here!
