Destination 158 Community Engagement Session #3

November 19, 2019 | 7:00 pm-9:00 pm

Everyone in the community is encouraged to participate in Destination 158! This citizen-led community engagement program brings parents and District residents together to develop a plan to keep our schools moving in the right direction.

Our topic for Session #3 will be “Beyond the Basics: Academics, curriculum, and student achievement.” The night will begin with a presentation by Dr. Erika Schlichter, Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Innovation, followed by a small group work session and reporting out period.

Destination 158 will hold a series of two-hour community engagement sessions where participants will learn more about District 158 programs, curriculum, staffing, finances and more and participate in interactive work activities with fellow community members to come to general agreement on the goals and priorities for our schools. The results of these work activities will serve as the foundation for our District’s strategic plan. Learn more at www.district158.org/destination158.

Details of presentations and activities will be determined based on the input received at prior sessions.

*Complimentary babysitting available
