Leadership Transition at Conley for Next School Year

Conley families,

As many of you are aware, Principal Maciejewski has announced her intention to retire at the end of the school year, bringing an end to a long and impressive career in Huntley 158 schools. While the building will miss her experienced leadership, we are pleased to have a plan in place to ensure that Conley is able to continue succeeding on a pathway of improvement.

Mrs. Anna Hoyou

Mrs. Anna Hoyou, current principal at Mackeben Elementary School, has agreed to transition into the principal role at Conley. Principal Hoyou’s track record of success in building relationships with students and staff, guiding social-emotional learning, and leading school improvement plans make her an ideal fit for Conley at this time.

Her role at Mackeben will be filled by current Mackeben assistant principal Mrs. Paula Moan.

As a District, it is a great fortune to have the ability to fill leadership roles of this importance internally in this seamless manner.

We hope that you will find an opportunity to send well wishes to Mrs. Maciejewski as she enters a well-earned retirement at the end of this school year, while welcoming Mrs. Hoyou into the Conley family.

Thank you for your continued partnership, and good health to you and yours.

Sincerely,

Scott Rowe, Ed.D.
Superintendent
