Taryn Jakubowski, a 2016 graduate of Huntley High School, has signed a contract with Finnish professional soccer club Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS) during the 2021 season.

During her high school career, Jakubowski accumulated a number of honors. As a senior, Jakubowski led HHS to a 22-5-2 record and a school-best fourth place finish in the Class 3A State Competition. During that season she amassed 30 goals and 11 assists, contributing to career totals of 80 goals and 49 assists.

A three-time all-conference selection, she was named honorary captain of the Daily Herald Fox Valley All-Area Team and Elgin Courier-News Girls Soccer Player of Year as a senior.
