Performing Arts Center

Welcome to Huntley District 158 Theater

It is with great excitement that we announce… THE WAIT IS OVER.

Year after year, hundreds of student actors, technical crew, ensemble members, and pit band members join together with our behind the scenes teams of directors, scenic designers, construction crews, painters, technical directors, and several others to bring the magic of theatre to the Huntley community. We are proud to say that we strive to deliver a variety of quality theater entertainment – from musicals and the classics to comedies, dramas and mysteries – brought to life by passionate young artists.

For the 2021-2022 theatre season, our Mainstage performances, held in the District 158 Performing Arts Center at Huntley High School, will feature an eclectic mix of family favorites such as Disney’s Moana Jr., The Addams Family, and Disney’s Aladdin Jr. to classics such as William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We’ll also introduce you to Box, a vignette play in one act written by Lindsay Price.

Our Spotlight shows, held in our new Centennial Blackbox Theater, a more intimate setting at Huntley High School, will include HHS Thespian Troupe 6147’s performances of Dead Man’s Cell Phone, the annual One Act Plays Festival, an Improv Show, and a one-night special performance of this years’ Contest Theatre production of Eleemosynary.

On behalf of our students and production teams, we are grateful for the commitment and support of the Board of Education members and administrators, and give special thanks to our business and community partners, and to you for your support through ticket purchases, advertising and donations.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
