Registration
The Registration Office welcomes new families to District 158 and assists them with the registration process. The Registration Office is also responsible for the organization and management of all student-related data.

The registration process takes approximately 30 minutes. Therefore, we ask that you arrive no later than 3:00 p.m.
Please bring your child with you to registration so we may take his/her ID photo at that time.
Contact the District Registrar or Assistant District Registrar at 847-659-6147 with any questions you may have regarding the registration process.
Changing Student Information
If you need to update phone numbers or emergency contact information for your child, please email the information to the Registration Office. Be sure to include your student’s full name and, if possible, their student identification number.
Please Note – Address changes need to be made in person at the Registration Office. Unless eligible for rights under the McKinney-Vento Act for homeless students, the following documents are required to provide proof of residency:

Have you and your children lost housing? Are you sharing housing with others because of loss of housing, economic need or domestic violence; living in a shelter or motel; without a permanent address?
Your children have the right to stay in school; receive transportation to and from school; immediately enroll in school; receive free lunch and school fee waivers.

Unless eligible for rights under the McKinney-Vento Act for homeless students, the following registration fees are required:
