BIRTHDAY TREATS
Birthday lunch treats brought to Heineman Middle School should be limited to
just your child. The large quantities of pizzas, soda, and desserts being
brought to the school during lunch periods are causing an unnecessary
disturbance in our cafeteria. Thank you for honoring this request and keeping
your child’s treat just for him/her to enjoy. If you have questions or
concerns, please call the HMS office at 847-659-4300. Thank you.

HOMEWORK REQUESTS
If
you are absent from school and would like to request homework, please have your
parent contact your study hall teacher either by email or leave a voicemail
message by 9:00 a.m. in order to pick up the homework by 2:30 p.m. of the same
day.

of students as they become responsible, respectful individuals who celebrate the

New Parent
Information. Please read the following:
This is a friendly
reminder of our school procedures regarding items being dropped off for
students in the main office at Heineman Middle School.
The main office
will have two call downs a day with the first call down at 9 a.m. and
the last call down at 1 p.m.
Heineman
Middle School understands that students may forget homework or school
related items and having a parent bring these to school is perfectly
fine. Please understand that we will not interrupt classroom
instruction or academic progress for these items to be given to the
appropriate student.
Additionally, if a
student has called home for a parent to bring an item to school, he/she
is always welcome to pick it up during passing periods throughout the
day. The students can also come down during their lunch period to pick
up any dropped off items. Otherwise, the students will be called down
at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Thank you for your
support in this matter. Please feel free to contact Mr. Stotz or Mr.
Litchfield with any questions.
Sincerely,
Heineman
Middle School Administration
