Dear Students and Parents:
Please note that the following information only pertains to the Self-Directed Study Hall period.
With our new remote learning bell schedule, you will notice that all students have a class called, “Self Directed Study Hall” twice a week during our block schedule days. This is different from a normal study hall that the students may have in their normal schedule.
Students will have time to work independently during Self-Directed Study Hall, and they will not need to log into Zoom. This added self-directed time is to assist our students in prioritizing their workload during remote learning. Providing students time to complete work, organize themselves, and study will put our students on a successful path as we learn to navigate our new norm.
Our goal is for students to spend this time in a valuable way to help improve their learning.
There have been a handful of glitches today, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility as we continue to work out the kinks.
Sincerely,
Mr. Faulkner, Principal
Heineman Middle School
