Hey Heineman Hawks!! Did you know that our final Student Council dance is NEXT FRIDAY! It’s our Valentine’s Day Dance!! If you have your ID and wear Valentine’s colors, the cost is just $5!!! If you forget your ID it will be $8, or $6 if you don’t wear the colors! SO…mark your calendars – NEXT FRIDAY, February 7…here at Heineman…from 7 to 9 pm. There will be concessions for sale and prizes too! See you there!


Do you like watching movies, playing sports, making crafts, knitting, learning new technology, and more?  Maybe you want to take one of the fun new workshops offered after school. The workshop catalog can be found on the Haiku extras tab.  Ask your teacher or classmate how to get to the Haiku extras workshops webpage.


Hey, hawks! There’s a new club at Heineman! It’s the Beyblade club and it will be held every Thursday from 2:30-3:45 and will be in room F116 (next to the foods room) Bring your own Beyblades and get ready for some tournaments!  Our first meeting is gonna be on Thursday, January 30th. Make sure you sign up for activity bus or have a ride home!


Congratulations to the  7th grade boys basketball team for winning the regional championship!  Hawks Pulled away with two clutch free throws from Aiden Larson with 2 seconds in the game to seal the victory!  The team plays next Wednesday for the sectional championship in Vernon Hills.

There will be a make up for honors choir today from 2:30-3:30


Drama club will meet Friday after school from 2:30-3:45


Any student interested in a strength and conditioning training camp, please pick up an informational flyer in the office. This camp is only open to middle school students. The first session runs from Feb 3rd – March 12th from 4:00-5:30 at Huntley High School. HMS is providing transportation from HMS to HHS, if needed.  You do need to sign up for the training camp bus with Mrs. Fulton in the office. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Fulton or Mr. Borring.

If you need to take the activity bus, don’t forget to sign up by 1 p.m.  Go to the school website, click on Student, find Activity Bus and fill out the form. 


Please be sure you’re wearing your Heineman ID. If you don’t have it, please get an orange   wristband from the office.
