Hey, hawks! There’s a new club at Heineman! It’s the Beyblade club and it will be held every Thursday from 2:30-3:45 and will be in room F116 (next to the foods room) Bring your own Beyblades and get ready for some tournaments!  Our first meeting is gonna be on Thursday, January 30th. Make sure you sign up for activity bus or have a ride home!

There will be a make up for honors choir this Thursday from 2:30-3:30

 

Drama club will meet Friday after school from 2:30-3:45

 

Jazz Band Rehearsal is today in the band room at 2:30.

 

The Academic Team meeting is cancelled today.

 

Any student interested in a strength and conditioning training camp, please pick up an informational flyer in the office. This camp is only open to middle school students. The first session runs from Feb 3rd – March 12th from 4:00-5:30 at Huntley High School. HMS is providing transportation from HMS to HHS, if needed.  You do need to sign up for the training camp bus with Mrs. Fulton in the office. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Fulton or Mr. Borring.

 Congratulations to the 7th-grade boys basketball team for their win last night against Marlowe in the Regional Semifinals!  Tonight we will be playing for the regional championship in Vernon Hills.  Wish us luck!

 

 

Congratulations to the 7th grade girls basketball team for their victories over Lundahl last night. Heineman won the first game 39 to 5. Leading the way were Madi Diaz with 10 points and Sadie Svendsen with 7. Heineman also won the second game, with a final score of 18 to 8. Key contributors were Diellza Sejdini with 6 points and Shea Nagle with 2. Great Job Hawks!

 

 

Congrats to the Girl’s 8th grade basketball team for their win against Lundahl 32 to 14.  Leading the way Hailey Goers 10 and Mia Garlin 8.

 

Homework Club runs Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 3:45

 

If you need to take the activity bus, don’t forget to sign up by 1 p.m.  Go to the school website, click on Student, find Activity Bus and fill out the form. 

 

 

Please be sure you’re wearing your Heineman ID. If you don’t have it, please get a aqua  wristband from the office.
