7th grade girls’ basketball tryouts being on Tuesday, January 7th and Wednesday, January 8th after school. Please see Mr. Nordan with any questions.


The 8th grade girl’s basketball tryouts will be on Tuesday, January 7th and Thursday, January 9th. Please make sure to sign up on 8 to 18 and have your current physical and concussion testing completed and submitted by January 6th in order to try out!


The Student Council is hosting a Locker Decorating Contest! Everyone is welcome to participate, but you need to bring your own materials! Judging will take place this Thursday, so your locker needs to be finished by then. There will be 18 prizes for 18 lucky winners! The winners will be announced Thursday, December 12! Have fun and good luck!


Attention all HMS students! We are excited to announce a Drama Club! Our first meeting will be Friday, December 13th from 2:30 to 3:45 in the choir room, and everyone is welcome! Our first meeting will be all about Drama Club, and from there on we’ll be singing and acting! We hope to see you there!



Tomorrow’s theme will be:  Twin Day- dress like your bff 


Good morning Heieneman! Student Council wants to thank you for participating in our 12 Days Till Winter Break countdown! Today is Holly Jolly Day and we’d like to give you all a sweet treat – a Jolly Rancher! Tomorrow is Twin Day Dress like your friends! And we will also be judging the locker decorating contest. Winners announced on Friday! And bring your quarters next week for our Candy Cane sale! 


Reminder to Student Council – our meeting is TODAY in Ms. Smith’s room until 3:45. Please leet Ms. Smith know if you are unable to attend. Secret Santa partners will be selected today!


Thank you to all who auditioned for this year’s play, A Simpler Time. We had 75 students try out and 40 were selected for our production set for the first weekend in March. Emails were sent out last night to all who auditioned. See Ms. Smith or Ms. Zeis with any questions. 


The snowhawk ski and snowboard club is hosting a coat drive collection for families and teens in need this winter. Please if you have any unwanted, usable coats or gloves that you are looking to donate please consider the coat drive as an option this year. Our collection is running until December 18th this year. 


Jazz Band Rehearsal is today in the band room at 2:30


Homework Club runs Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 3:45


If you need to take the activity bus, don’t forget to sign up by 1 p.m.  Go to the school website, click on Student, find Activity Bus and fill out the form. 


Please be sure you’re wearing your Heineman ID. If you don’t have it, please get an orange wristband from the office.
