Heineman Middle School Night will be hosted by the Chicago Cougars Junior Hockey team on December 6th at 8:10p.m. at the Canlan Ice Sports Center, previously Leaf’s Sports Center.  Help your school’s PTO raise money by purchasing tickets. FREE Heineman student with the purchase of adult or senior ticket! Ticket order forms can be found in the office or online.  All order forms and cash/checks must be turned into the office.

 

Attention Student Council… anyone from the Banners, Events, or Spirit… we need to meet TODAY after school, if you are available. Please report to Ms Smith’s room if you can make it. We will wrap up by 345. See Ms. Smith if you have any questions.

 

Attention all HMS students! We are excited to announce a Drama Club! Our first meeting will be Friday, December 13th from 2:30 to 3:45 in the choir room, and everyone is welcome! Our first meeting will be all about Drama Club, and from there on we’ll be singing and acting! We hope to see you there!

 

Attention all Hawks! If you are interested in auditioning for our Spring play, come pick up an information sheet from Ms. Smith’s room – F102. There is a cart outside her room with a bright pink audition sheet. Just grab one! Auditions will be Tuesday, December 10th, after school.

 

We will be hosting another free concussion screening for Girl’s Basketball & Wrestling on Thursday, December 5, 2019 here at Heineman from 2:30 -4:30pm.  You must have a concussion form filled out and signed by a parent/guardian.

 

Attention all sixth seventh and eighth grade students. There will be an informational meeting about the upcoming wrestling season. The meeting will be today at 2:30 in Mr. Wroble‘s room. The meeting is open to any grade level both boys and girls. No experience necessary. Hope to see you there.

 

The snowhawk ski and snowboard club is hosting a coat drive collection for families and teens in need this winter. Please if you have any unwanted, usable coats or gloves that you are looking to donate please consider the coat drive as an option this year. Our collection is running until December 18th this year. 

 

The annual “Toys for Tots” drive has begun and will conclude on Monday, December 9th.  50 pride points will be awarded per toy collected.

Service club will meet on Monday, December 9 from 2:30-3:45 in the team 7-2 area.

 

Homework Club runs Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 3:45

 

If you need to take the activity bus, don’t forget to sign up by 1 p.m.  Go to the school website, click on Student, find Activity Bus and fill out the form. 

 

Please be sure you’re wearing your Heineman ID. If you don’t have it, please get a green wristband from the office.
