*Reminder for all 6th and 7th grade students who had art first quarter. Any remaining projects need to be picked up from the art room by the end of the week!*


*Do you like to create? Do you want to work on art projects outside of school? Then come join the art club. Our first meeting will be Today, October 29th after school in the art room. Please see Mrs. Vitucci if you have any questions.*


Last night the 8th grade boys played great first games against Hannah Beardsley! The A-game won in a total team effort 37-25, meanwhile in the B-game the boys Lost 36-29 but displayed a great comeback attempt in the second half but feel short. Keep up the good work as they are set to face Bernotas on Wednesday on the road 


Hey Heineman! Our first Student Council dance is coming up soon! Mark your calendars for November 1st! Join us for our Halloween Dance from 7pm to 9 pm. Cost is $6 with your ID or $8 without it! You can also get a $1 discount if you wear Halloween colors or a costume! Any questions – see Ms. Smith. 


Attention all Thursday Service Club teacher assistants- Teacher assisting is CANCELLED for Thursday, October 31.  Please go home on your regular bus.


Ecology Club:  Our next meeting will be held on Monday, November 4 from 2:30-3:45 in the garden.  We will work in the garden.


Attention 7th Grade Girls Volleyball Players, We will be having our team pizza party in Mr. Ary’s room tomorrow after school!  Bring a drink, snack or dessert to share. Coach Ary and Coach Popp will supply the pizza. See you tomorrow from 2:30-3:45. “


Red Ribbon Week!

What is it?: A week to celebrate drug awareness

When is it?: now through November 1st

What do you need to know?

Today/October 29th: Too Bright to do drugs!- wear neon

Tomorrow/October 30th: Watch a movie, don’t think about drugs-wear a movie or tv themed shirt

Thursday/October 31st: Don’t let Drugs Haunt You!-wear Halloween colors

Friday/November 1st: Follow your dreams-wear pajamas(no slippers!)

Enjoy red ribbon week & stay drug-free! 


Homework Club runs Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 3:45


If you need to take the activity bus, don’t forget to sign up by 1 p.m.   Go to the school website, click on Student, find Activity Bus and fill out the form. 


Please be sure you’re wearing your Heineman ID. If you don’t have it, please get a  yellow wristband from the office.
