*Reminder for all 6th and 7th grade students who had art first quarter. Any remaining projects need to be picked up from the art room by the end of the week!*

 

*Do you like to create? Do you want to work on art projects outside of school? Then come join the art club. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, October 29th after school in the art room. Please see Mrs. Vitucci if you have any questions.*

 

Hey Heineman! Our first Student Council dance is coming up soon! Mark your calendars for November 1st! Join us for our Halloween Dance from 7pm to 9 pm. Cost is $6 with your ID or $8 without it! You can also get a $1 discount if you wear Halloween colors or a costume! Any questions – see Ms. Smith. 

 

Service Club:  We will meet on Today, October 28 in the 7-2 pod from 2:30-3:45.

 

Attention all Thursday Service Club teacher assistants- Teacher assisting is CANCELLED for Thursday, October 31.  Please go home on your regular bus.

 

Ecology Club:  Our next meeting will be held on Monday, November 4 from 2:30-3:45 in the garden.  We will work in the garden.

 

Red Ribbon Week!

What is it?: A week to celebrate drug awareness

When is it?: Starts today through November 1st

 

What do you need to know?

Today/ October 28th: Proud to be drug free-wear red

Tomorrow/October 29th: Too Bright to do drugs!- wear neon

Wednesday/October 30th: Watch a movie, don’t think about drugs-wear a movie or tv themed shirt

Thursday/October 31st: Don’t let Drugs Haunt You!-wear Halloween colors

Friday/November 1st: Follow your dreams-wear pajamas(no slippers!)

Enjoy red ribbon week & stay drug-free! 

 

Homework Club runs Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 3:45

 

If you need to take the activity bus, don’t forget to sign up by 1 p.m.   Go to the school website, click on Student, find Activity Bus and fill out the form. 

 

Please be sure you’re wearing your Heineman ID. If you don’t have it, please get a orange wristband from the office.
