This is a reminder that Heineman Middle School has 3 expectations:

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

Be Involved

8th grade boys basketball tryouts will be Monday, October 21st and  Tuesday October 22nd from 2:45-5pm in the gym. This tryout is open to all 8th grade boys!

The Heineman Hawk’s Cross Country Team battled through cold temps this Saturday at the IESA Sectional Meet.  All runners did awesome and showed true grit through the races. Congratulations to Tommy Nitz for placing 3rd in the boy’s race and for qualifying for the state meet. Congratulations to Ximena Ceballos for placing 6th, to Brooke Grabs for placing 11th and to Izzy Ciesla for placing 12th in the girl’s race.  In addition, Lexi Rojek, Kaitlyn Wittig, Katelyn Engling and Marina Reicher all had fantastic races to help the HMS Girl’s Cross Country Team to place 3rd overall, qualifying them as a team for the state meet. If you see these athletes in the hall, give them a high five for a job well done!
