This is a reminder that Heineman Middle School has 3 expectations:

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

Be Involved

Being respectful means walking to and from the buses in a nice and orderly fashion.

There will be a cooking club information meeting on Thursday, September 19th in the Foods Lab from 2:30-3:00pm.  Those interested in joining should plan on attending the meeting. See Mrs. Curran for details.

Attention Student Council members – we have an ALL council meeting today in Ms. Smith’s room until 3:45. Please let Ms. Smith know if you are unable to attend. Don’t forget to wear your Student Council shirt!

“Hey, Heineman students! Would you like to be a part of spreading positivity and letting other students know we’ve got your back through the good times and bad? Then come check out Aevidum (uh-VEE-dum) to learn more about it! Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 25, at 2:30 in Mrs. Sisler’s room on 8-2. All are welcome. Leadership opportunities available! See or email Mrs. Sisler with questions.”

The Heineman Cheerleading tryout clinic will be on Monday & Tuesday September 23rd & 24thh with tryouts on Thursday, September 26th . In order to try out, you need to be registered on 8to18 and have a current physical and concussion screening on file.  Please stop by the office to pick up an information packet.

Jazz Band Rehearsal is today in the band room at 2:30

7th Grade volleyball played great at our first home meet against Lundahl.  A team came close with Ivy and Ashley playing well at the net! B team won all three games with Dielza serving and hustling and Naomi making some good passes! Great job girls!

The eighth grade girls won both of their matches against Lundahl last night. Rae Habel and Jillian Coleman did a great job serving, while Lauren Anderson and Lizzie Williams played tough at the net. We want to see more students at our next home game tomorrow! The first game starts at 4:00 and there is no cost to get in—Go Hawks!

Homework Club runs Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 3:45

If you need to take the activity bus, don’t forget to sign up by 1 p.m.  The office will no longer be able to add you to the list after 1p.m. If you forget to sign up, it will be your responsibility to find a ride home.  Go to the school website, click on Student, find Activity Bus and fill out the form before 1 p.m.

Please be sure you’re wearing your Heineman ID. If you don’t have it, please get a yellow wristband from the office.
