Be responsible by wearing your ID every day. If you forget your ID, please get a wristband from the office.

Heineman’s Academic Team B tried hard yesterday against Beardsley but lost, while Team A won a great match. Way to go, Hawks!

If you were not at the high school last night, you missed out on some incredible basketball being played by the 8th grade girls’ basketball team. The girls defeated the Marlowe Mustangs in both the A and B games. The girls played amazing defense, and worked together on offense to earn both victories. Sammi Campanelli and Alyssa Koop were beasts on defense, shutting down the Mustangs. Ali Hornberg and Ali Monis both hit two 3 pointers to help the Hawks lead on the score board, while Olivia Hornberg controlled the movement of our offense. Lead scorers were Olivia Hornberg with 7 points, Breanna Burak and Ali Monis with 10 points, and Sammi Campanelli with 14 points.

Attention all students interested in joining the Track and Field Team:  If you did not get information handed out at lunch, please stop by the office to pick up the information. You must be registered on 8 to 18, no later than March 8th to join the team!

There is a Color Guard clinic tomorrow from 12-3pm at Huntley High. This is open to all middle schoolers interested in learning about HHS color guard, especially any 8th grader that is considering joining HHS color guard. If interested, pick up a flier in the office.
