Being responsible means keeping up with daily work during the busy holiday times. 

The STUCO Winter Break countdown continues: Today STUCO is selling candy canes at lunch for 25 cents. Monday morning listen to the announcements for a Holiday Riddle!

Attention all wrestlers: The informational meeting will be Tuesday, December 11th, after school in Coach Wroble’s room. The meeting will end at 3:30 so be sure to arrange a ride.

The HMS Service Club is sponsoring a Toys for Tots toy drive through December 11 at 2:30.  50 pride points per toy will be awarded.  New, unwrapped toys can be given to a teacher or placed in the front office bin.

Service Club:  Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 2:30 in the choir room.

Attention any 8th grade girl interested in trying out for the girls’ basketball team. Tryouts will be January 8th and 9th, after winter break. You will need a current physical and concussion test on file, along with being registered on 8 to 18 to try out. Please see Ms. McCrystal for more information or stop by the office for information.

A BRAND NEW CLUB is forming at Heineman!  If you like to ski or snowboard or have wanted to learn, Snow Hawks is the club for you!  Our first meeting (student and parent required to attend) will be Monday, December 10th at 6pm in the Heineman Cafeteria.  Our first trip date will be Friday, December 21st immediately after school.  Information about other trip dates and cost will be shared at the meeting.  We hope to SKI you there!

Attention all aspiring actors and actresses! We are pleased to introduce our spring play – “This is Your Brain on Social Media.” The play will be performed HERE at Heineman on March 1st and 2nd.. Auditions will be held on Monday, December 17th.  If you are interested in auditioning, please see Ms. Smith for more information.

Ecology Club:  Our next meeting will be held on Monday, January 7 from 2:30-3:45 in the Band room.

The activity bus is free this year, but you MUST sign up by noon to be able to ride it.
