Congratulations to the 7th grade boys’ basketball team for their victories last night against Nippersink! It was a great way to end the conference season before heading to Cary next week for the Fox Valley Conference Tournament. Please wish the boys good luck when you see them.
8th grade boys played some tough games last night against the Northwood Warhawks! In the B game, Jared Przybylski led the team with 6 points and 2 rebounds in the 37 to 21 loss. In the A game, Ryan Bakes showed off his long distance shooting ending up with 8 points and 4 rebounds in the physical 59 to 39 win! Great games and thanks to everyone that came to cheer them on!
Attention 7th and 8th grade girls trying out for basketball and any student interested in wrestling: Concussion baseline testing is today at Heineman from 2:30-5:30. A parent must sign the permission form.
Jazz Band Rehearsal will be in the band room today from 2:30-3:30.
Student Council and Club CHAOS meet today in Ms. Smith’s room until 3:45. Email Ms. Smith if you are not able to attend today’s meeting.
The STUCO Winter Break countdown continues: Tomorrow STUCO will sell candy canes for 25 cents at lunch.
A BRAND NEW CLUB is forming at Heineman! If you like to ski or snowboard or have wanted to learn, Snow Hawks is the club for you! Our first meeting (student and parent required to attend) will be Monday, December 10th at 6pm in the Heineman Cafeteria. Our first trip date will be Friday, December 21st immediately after school. Information about other trip dates and cost will be shared at the meeting. We hope to SKI you there!
The activity bus is free this year, but you MUST sign up by noon to be able to ride it.

Service Club: Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 2:30 in the choir room.
Attention all wrestlers: The informational meeting will be Tuesday, December 11th, after school in Coach Wroble’s room. The meeting will end at 3:30 so be sure to arrange a ride.
The HMS Service Club is sponsoring a Toys for Tots toy drive through December 11 at 2:30. 50 pride points per toy will be awarded. New, unwrapped toys can be given to a teacher or placed in the front office bin.
