Congratulations to all of the Track and Field athletes that competed in Saturday’s Sectional at Stevenson High school!

7th grade boys placed 6th at sectionals, 8th grade boys placed 7th, 7th grade girls placed 2nd and currently 8th grade girls are in 13th place, but will finish their discus event tonight.

The following girl athletes will be competing at State this Friday and Saturday in Peoria:
7th grade – Abbey Larson – Hurdles and 100 meter dash
8th grade – Ella Clements – Hurdles
7th grade – 4×100 Team: Makayla Baldwin, Jessie Ozzauto, Sammi Campanelli, Clara  Hudgens and Brooke Kranz
7th grade – Jessie Ozzauto – 400 meter dash

8th grade – Ally Panzloff – discus

The following boy athletes will be competing at Sate this Friday and Saturday in Peoria:
7th grade – William Kenner – 100 meter dash
8th grade – Seth Kardys – Shot Put
8th grade – 4×100 team: Jake Freitag, Dante Ricciardi, Seth Kardys, Sean Downer, and Cory Wrolson

Heineman music department is thrilled to announce the musical for next year will be Mulan Junior.  Auditions will be Thursday, May 24th. If you are interested in auditioning, please visit our website at Both the song you have to sing as well as the scene you will read can be found there. You will also need to register for an audition time slot. See Mrs. Moore for questions. Hope to see you there!

Attention 8th grade: The Huntley High Orchesis auditions are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week – you must attend all days. Informational fliers are in the office.

Attention 8th graders trying out for cheer: there will be a bus to take you to the high school after school today and tomorrow. It will be out front at 2:30.

Hawks Have Heart is getting closer.  Our next raffles will be this​ Wednesday and Friday.  Turn in at least $10 by this

​Wednesday and ​Friday and you will get a ticket for a drawing that afternoon.  You can win one of the following prizes:

movie passes to AMC, a PS4 gift card, and a Dunkin Donuts gift card. All donations will go towards Give Love for Life and will pay for your t shirt and all of the fun activities on May 25th.

Attention all students: If you need to take the activity bus, you must sign up by noon. If you do not, there may be disciplinary consequences.
