Being responsible means being an upstander instead of just being a bystander. If everybody does their part, our school will be a better place and you’ll feel good about yourself for helping others instead of just thinking about yourself.

Attention all students: If you need to take the activity bus, you must sign up by noon. If you do not, there may be disciplinary consequences.

Please make sure you are wearing your HMS ID today!

Attention Service club:  The due date for sharing service logs with Miss Franklin is Friday, April 27!  No logs will be accepted after this date.  Email Miss Franklin with questions.  Our final meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, May 8 from 2:30-3:45 in the Choir room.

Attention Ecology Club: Our next meeting will be held on Monday, May 7 from 2:30-3:45 in the Band room.  Please come dressed to work in the garden.

HMS is participating in a plastic bag recycling challenge.  We will be collecting plastic shopping bags, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, newspaper sleeves, produce and bread bags, cereal boxes, ice bags, case overwrap and Ziploc type reclosable bags. Collection boxes will be placed in the following classrooms:  Ms. McCrystal (8-1), Mr. Hotchkiss (8-2), Mr. Dvorak (7-1), Mrs. Richardson (6-2).  Items must be clean and dry before being placed in a bin. Please bring in these items and place them in one of these bins, or give them to one of your teachers.

Have you ordered your yearbook yet? There’s still time! Check the HMS website for details.
