Reading over the summer months is an important opportunity for
students to stay engaged and to develop a life-long commitment to
reading and learning.
Students may select their summer reading from the 2015 Abraham
Lincoln Award/Illinois' High School Readers' Choice Award List.

vaccination for 12th Grade 2015-16:
Beginning with the 2015-16 school year, all students entering the
12th grade will be required to show proof of recent meningococcal
conjugate vaccination (MCV). All seniors will be required to
show proof of 2 doses unless the first dose was administered after
16 years of age. In this case, only one dose after 16 years of
age is required. This vaccination will prevent your student
from a severe form of bacterial meningitis as well as other illnesses
caused by this bacterium.

Up Day Information:
Students and parents will be able to pick up schedules, ID's,
books, PE uniforms, parking passes and complete log ins for tech
needs on material pick up days to be held in August.

Incoming freshmen, come to RAIDER RALLY!
Get excited about attending your new high school by developing
relationships and strategies that will contribute to your high
school success. Meet your peers as well as upperclassmen who
will serve as your mentors as you transition to Huntley High School.

There will be new parking tags for students and staff for the
2015-16 school year. We will now have hanging tags which will
alleviate the need for students with multiple cars to get multiple
Students must meet the following criteria in order to purchase
a parking sticker:
1. Sophomore level credit standing
2. Cumulative GPA of 1.7 or higher
3. Hold a valid driver's license
Dates of sale for parking permits:
Qualifying Seniors: July 1st - August 26th
Qualifying Juniors: July 16th - August 26th
Any remaining spots may be offered to sophomores following the
first full week of school.
The cost of yearly parking will be $100 and may be purchased
through the web
