ACTIVITY BUS INFORMATION:

 

Sign-up for the Activity Bus in the LRC daily before noon. 

 

If students attend Raider Aid, there is no charge for the activity bus.  Otherwise, the charges are as follows:

 

  • $3 per day

  • $55 for 20 ride pass

upcoming Events:
Nov 3rd Double Lunch begins for Seniors listed on the PSAE double lunch list (see below).
Nov 5th Late Start (1st hour begins at 8am and 2nd hour begins at 8:48am)
Nov 5th NCAA Eligibility Parent/Student Meeting at 7pm in PAC
Nov 6th Practice ACT for Sophomores and Juniors; Freshmen in attendance; Seniors not in attendance.  See below for schedule.
Seniors and PSAE Lunch Passes:

Any senior who meets or exceeds standards on the PSAE (given last spring as part of the ACT) will have a double lunch beginning on Monday, November 3rd.   The students will no longer have to report to advisories. The list of eligible students is posted by ID# on the College and Careers window and A-G pod windows.

If you missed the meeting today, here is what you need to know:

  • If you are on the eligible student list, you have double lunch automatically beginning Monday, November 3rd.  You do not need a new ID for this.  You should see 'Senior Lunch' in your schedule instead of the advisory by Monday.
  • For off campus, pick up a form from your POD secretary.  Get parent signature and turn back in to your POD.  Two days after you turn in the form, you may pick up your new ID (no charge) from your POD.
  • Once you get your new ID with the 'P' printed on it, you may begin to leave campus for lunch through Door 8 only.  Please show your ID to security when you leave and return.
  • Make good choices!
Practice ACT on November 6th:

On Thursday, November 6th we will be administering a practice ACT to our sophomores and juniors.  Seniors will not be in attendance that day.  Freshmen will be in attendance. 

Testing will be from 7:30am - 11:12am for sophomores and juniors.  Freshmen will report to the PAC at 7:30 for a special presentation on college preparedness, I-Safety and a Veteran's Day remembrance.  The schedule for the day is below:

Lunch:   4(a) 10:11 – 10:40        4(b) 10:43 – 11:12

All Students – Late Start schedule for periods 5 - 8

5th hour – 11:17 – 12:00      (11:17 – 11:37 and 11:40 – 12:00)

6th hour – 12:05 – 12:48      (12:05 – 12:25 and 12:28 – 12:48)

7th hour – 12:53 – 1:36

8th hour – 1:41 – 2:26

Yearbook Information:
 

The next yearbook pick up date will be Tuesday, 11/4 from 2:00-4:30PM at Door 8. This will serve as a pick up date for graduates OR if you did not receive your book in class. If you are unable to make it then, there will be times posted on the website for pick up during our parent teacher conferences at the end of November. If a sibling/friend needs to pick up the yearbook, a parent must send an e-mail to notify Mrs. Teeter at lteeter@district158.org.

If you did not purchase a book last year and would like to be put on a waiting list in the chance that there are extra books, please e-mail Ms. Teeter at lteeter@district158.org.
