Collaboration Pods

Using space and technology, Collaboration Pods are designed to enhance academic collaborative efforts.  Collaboration rooms are not for socialization.

COLLABORATION PODS MAY:

  • Be reserved by teachers or students
  • Be reserved ahead of time or at the beginning of the period
  • Contain 2-8 people who are listed on the reservation form

 

COLLABORATION PODS MUST:

  • Be used for academic collaborative work
  • Be checked out from HUB staff
  • Be reserved by filling out a reservation form
  • Be used within the first 10 minutes or the reservation will be cancelled
  • Observe the same rules as the rest of the HUB

 

RESERVATION FORMS:

  • Include names of ALL group members
  • NO Names may be added later
  • Must contain the Academic Focus/Course/Teacher Name
  • Will require an ID to check out the room 
  • Primary Name indicates responsibility for the room and equipment
  • If the above procedures are not followed, the reservation will be lost as well as the ability to reserve a collaboration pod in the future.
