Requirements for Certificate or Transcript Designation

To Qualify for the Certificate of Completion or the Transcript Designation the following Criteria must be met:

  1. Accepted into the Medical Academy
  2. Fulfill both the academic and extra curricular point requirement for either the Certificate or Transcript Designation (see checklist below for more detail) [A student cannot receive both a Certificate and a Transcript Designation]
  3. Put together a presentation and present it in February of your Senior Year.

A minimum of 30 points are needed from a point system: at least 18 must be from the Academic Category and at least 8 must be from the Extra Curricular Category. Be sure to look at the Points Checklist below for required points involving medically related job shadows and medically related volunteer hours.

Minimum GPA of weighted 3.5
