Two Huntley High School juniors received perfect scores of 36 on the ACT Exam. Savannah Fiedler and Caitlin Murray are among just 1,598 students out of 1.92 million nationwide to earn a composite score of 36.
“It’s pretty crazy,” Fiedler told the Northwest Herald. “When you think about all the kids at my school and the kids at surrounding schools who took it, it’s crazy. I can’t believe I did it.”
Less than one-tenth of 1 percent of all test-takers receive a perfect composite score.
“I honestly thought there was some kind of mistake at first,” Murray told the paper. “I was really excited about it though.”
Aggregate data on Huntley High School’s ACT performance is expected to be released later this year.
