You are a valued member of the IEP team. While you may not have an educational background as a parent, you are part of the IEP team. You are an important member. Parents have the opportunity to know your child more intimately. You know how your child functions in various situations, their talents, and their learning style. As a parent you are learning to help your child find their voice in advocacy, in part by modeling this for them. This session will provide a strong understanding of the IEP process and how to confidently take your place as part of the team. Step into co-ownership of your child’s education.
