The meeting will be available for both viewing and public participation using online tools that are highly accessible and free of charge to the public.
Attending (Viewing) the Meeting
Members of the public may view the meeting livestream as usual on the District’s YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/district158. The stream typically begins a few minutes before the meeting opens (6:00 p.m.). Meetings also are archived on the District’s YouTube channel for later viewing.
There will be no physical location or attendance for the event. Board members will attend remotely via Zoom.
Public Participation in the Meeting
Members of the public seeking to make a public comment should submit comments in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00 p.m. May 21. Please include “Public Comment” in the subject line and list your full name and address in the body of the email. Comments will be read verbatim during the public comment section.
A live participation option will be available via Zoom for those who desire to make a verbal comment.
Participants will be recognized at the discretion of the Board President and/or designee. Commenters will be asked to state their name and address prior to delivering their comment. Those seeking to participate must adhere to Board policy to “Conduct oneself with respect and civility toward others.” This includes but is not limited to avoidance of inappropriate content of all kinds in this online forum.
