Reed Road Campus families,
The soft lockdown at Reed Road Campus schools has been lifted.
Huntley and Lake in the Hills Police Departments have completed their initial response to the criminal incident in the vicinity of campus earlier this morning, and they have found no cause for continuation of this precaution.
Marlowe, Chesak, and Martin
Marlowe, Chesak, and Martin will continue to operate as normal for the rest of the school day and will dismiss at regularly scheduled times. Out of an abundance of caution, there will be police presence on campus during dismissal times today.
Early Childhood Center
Early Childhood Center Session 1 students will now be released to families for pickup in the car rider line or will be transported home via bus. These students were provided with lunch at school during the soft lockdown.
Session 2 families may continue to pick up students at Mackeben Elementary School at their convenience. If you are unable to pick up your student, please call the Mackeben main line at (847) 659-3400 to arrange for transportation home at 1:30 p.m.
