Huntley 158 Today: Terry Awrey Reflects on 33 Years with the District

Terry Awrey, associate superintendent for secondary education, announced his retirement at the end of the 2017-18 school year after a career spanning 33 years and multiple jobs with Huntley Community School District 158.

Hired in 1985 as a teacher and football coach, Mr. Awrey has served and just about every capacity you can think of with the District during that time. His legacy at Huntley 158 will endure thanks to his passion to always lead, love, and inspire students.

On this episode of Huntley 158 Today, he sits down to talk with fellow associate superintendent Jessica Lombard, who has known him as a student, colleague, and friend for much of that time.
