HHS Presents “Legally Blonde the Musical” April 28-30

Huntley High School’s annual all-school musical will bring Legally Blonde The Musical to the Performing Arts Center stage April 28 through April 30.  Get your pink on and join the student cast for this all-singing, all-dancing, fun and fabulous feel-good musical comedy that is a delightful reminder that being yourself never goes out of style.

Based on the hit movie Legally Blonde, the musical version follows college sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods, who doesn’t take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone more serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books and heads for Harvard Law School. There she encounters Professor Callahan who proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. Legally Blonde The Musical will take you from the social whirl of California campus life to Harvard’s halls of justice with our heroine Elle, her dog, Bruiser, and the dog-toting-hairdresser Paulette.

Performances will be held April 28, 29, and 30 at 7:00 p.m., with a special matinee at 3:00 p.m. on April 30 in the Performing Arts Center at Huntley High School. Tickets are $5 for general admission and can be purchased at the door 60 minutes prior to show times or online by selecting Performing Arts Center at https://huntley.revtrak.net/tek9.asp.

The directing team of Nancy Cross, Tom George, Amy Sharp, Christine DeFrancesco, Jill Corapi, and Nathan Knapke urge you to join the large ensemble of extremely talented students for Huntley High School’s production of Legally Blonde The Musical!
