Marlowe Middle School Principal Mr. Adam Zehr was featured in a Northwest Herald article focusing on how districts evaluate and provide mentorship for administrators.
“I really enjoy the role that I have here, working with the teachers,” Mr. Zehr told the paper. “You get to work with a lot of the district administration, work with the different stakeholders.”
He also told the paper that he has benefited from the relationship he has with a retired Chicago school administrator the District helped him connect with as a mentor.
The article mentioned that District 158’s in-house mentoring and professional development opportunities are especially beneficial to principals, standing in contrast to smaller districts that don’t have the capacity to offer such resources.
