An investment of time in entering Econ Illinois’ Poster Contest paid off for students in Stacey Hassels’ fourth-grade class at Conley Elementary School.
As part of a lesson on the difference between opportunity cost and choice in their economics unit in social studies, students were asked to draw a picture depicting this difference between these two concepts.
The drawings were entered into the Econ Illinois’s 2014-15 Economic Concepts Poster Contest.
Approximately 480 students in grades 1-8 from eight participating schools. Alyssa Koop was selected as a regional winner.
