Huntley High to Go Bald for Childhood Cancer

Students and staff of Huntley High School will host a variety of fundraisers in February and March to benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, one of the nation’s largest funders of childhood cancer research.

In addition, on March 13, the school will host two events:

  • Afternoon All-School St. Baldrick’s Assembly highlighting the top fundraisers, shaving the heads of key contributors and acknowledging local cancer survivors
  • 4-9 p.m. Community Event in East Gym where all shavees will participate in the community shave; this will be a family-friendly event with music, food and entertainment!

All members of the community are invited to the 4 p.m. event, which will see a number of notable local residents getting their heads shaved for the cause.
