This
is Mr. McKay's fourth year at Huntley High School. He has also taught band in McHenry School District 15 and the Trinity Area
School District in Washington, PA, and K-8 general/vocal
music in Erie, PA. Originally
from the Erie area, Mr. McKay graduated from
General McLane High School
and Edinboro University of
Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. He was Drum
Major of the Lake Erie Regiment
Drum and Bugle Corps, before serving five years on their visual staff. He has pursued
graduate studies at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago and at
Northern Illinois University.
