About the Marching Red
Raiders:
The Huntley High School
Band includes students of the Concert Band, Wind Symphony and Percussion
Ensemble. The band rehearses for about two weeks in the summer,
including a five day camp and a three day camp at the school.
Through the first quarter, each group spends 3-4 days each week in class
on marching band material, and works on concert material the remaining
days. The full band rehearses Monday and Wednesday in the evening
for two hours. The color guard is entirely extra curricular,
rehearsing Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.
