Huntley Community School District 158 is excited to offer a full day of professional development for administrators, school business officers, and educators regarding innovative solutions on issues facing educational institutions.
Huntley 158’s Always Initiative has recently become the largest K-12 1:1 program in the state of Illinois. While quite an accomplishment, our 1:1 initiative is simply one of many innovative programs in the District. Each year hundreds of educators and administrators from schools and districts around the country visit Huntley Community School District 158 to learn about our innovative programs.
This year, to better accommodate our many visitors we have developed a full day of sessions, networking/Q&A, and classroom visits. The day will begin with a keynote presentation on innovation from a panel of district administrators and will follow with discussions, sessions, and site visits related to your purpose for attending.
Innovative Topics include:
- Blended Learning
- High School Academies (Medical, Engineering/Project Lead The Way)
- STEM Labs/MakerSpaces
- Always Initiative (1:1 Technology)
- Collaborative Learning Spaces
