Parent-Tot Center
The Parent Tot Center, located at Chesak Elementary School, 10910 Reed Road, Lake In The Hills, is a fee based program open only to residents of School District 158.
Filled with toys, craft activities, books, puzzles and so much more, the Parent Tot Center (PTC) provides a great place for children and parents to interact in an age appropriate and stimulating environment. Parents can network with other families and find resource materials such as parenting books, magazines, brochures, and take-home activities available for checkout. The PTC is a great way to spend quality time with your child.
The annual fee of $25 per child includes playgroups, programs, Tot Tunes, Story Time, concerts and other special events sponsored by the PTC. Once you are a paid participant, you may drop in anytime during open play hours and also sign up for our fun activities and parenting classes.
The program is open to children under the age of 5 years old, as of September 1, 2011. Children under the age of 1 as of September 1, 2011 are free. Registration and payment (cash or check) can be done during PTC open hours any time throughout the school year. The fee is $25 per child per school year, regardless of when you register. Proof of residency is required.
